A New Jersey agency tried to argue a few years ago that OPRA could only be used by residents of NJ and a trial court agreed. We appealed and won. Such restrictions are absurd (and also easy to evade). https://t.co/O14jvukwBF
Among other shitty things, this bill would forbid anyone outside Kentucky from making public-records requests. (Only a handful of states, mostly in the South, have this anti-transparency feature.)
