The President’s Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis – chaired by Chris Christie, with help from Jared Kushner – was created in March 2017 primarily to address the vast overuse of prescription opioids, as well as the use of illegal opioids.
The Opioid Commission – which is under the auspices of the White House’s Office of National Drug Control Policy (a/k/a the Drug Czar) – asked the public for comments:
“Any member of the public wishing to submit written comments for the Commission’s consideration may do so via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.”
I filed a FOIA request for these comments. The results are above.
