Fun #FOIA Fact: sometimes the government will tout the number of pages it has released in response to a given request. There are many ways in which this can be a misleading stat. Here, for instance, are 4 “released” — and unredacted! — pages from my lawsuit.
When a rape case is closed, you’d think that meant there was an arrest.
That’s not true for cases cleared by exceptional means.
🔎Could your police department be inflating its rape clearance rates?
This is an outrage. DOJ’s refusing to release Whitaker’s financial disclosure form is illegal, unheard of, and highly suspicious. What is DOJ hiding? https://t.co/QJV1QOj9Ic
Dear Acting AG @MattWhitaker46: You can stonewall, but we will get the info you are hiding when the House changes control. And we will call you before the Judiciary Committee and make you testify before the American people.
Have a nice Thanksgiving.

So glad to see that @weareoversight is pressing the Office of Govt Ethics on Matthew Whitaker’s unreleased financial disclosures. I’m one of many people who’ve requested those so-called public documents from the Justice Dept, only to hear the sound of crickets. https://t.co/UUOisVJ4LT
